Marexpo participated in the EXPOŽ98 running under the motto "The oceans - heritage for the future". As part of the EU pavillion MAREXPO provided three physical demonstrators to display the transition from shipbuilding in the past to shipbuilding by means of advanced technologies in the future. The visitors of EXPOŽ98 experienced shipbuilding in demonstrators for design, manufacturing and survey. A multimedia-infocounter additionally informed about industrial research mechanisms and available project results.
